FIFA20 - PS4 [Sunday] Rules

Ever wondered what it takes to play for the FIFA eWorld Cup? We may not be FIFA status, but it’s a good enough reason to play just like them. Here’s the rundown to our eLeague is:

  • Your expected start time will be 7.30pm on a Sunday night. To access your schedule, please login to www.urbanrec.com.au/login. This will be released by the start of the week for the season.
  • The opponent’s team name will be their PSN ID. So please add all the PSN ID’s before the start of the season for ease. You will receive a welcome email to remind you before the start of the season.
  • Once you’ve opened FIFA20, please send an invite to play through Online Friendlies.
  • The online settings are Half Length = 5 Mins // Controls = Any // Game Speed = Normal // Squad Type = Online
  • You will play at least 3 games. The result will be determined by the amount of games WON (WIN = 1, DRAW or LOSS = 0) – e.g. If Lindsay beats Danny in first 2 games & the last game is a draw, the final score is Lindsay 2 – 0 Danny. If all games are a draw, then the score will be 0-0.
  • You can ONLY choose CLUB or International teams. (No Ultimate teams or special/modified teams). Please ensure all squads have been updated before you start the night.
  • Games do not continue into Extra time, Golden Goal or Penalties.
  • If you and your opposition would like to play more, GO FOR GOLD! Please have a mutual agreement if any games above the 3 are counted to the final result.
  • You can change your team at the end of every game if you wish.
  • Use of subs and change of tactics/formations is encouraged.
  • If a game drops out due to poor internet connection, this will be deemed as a loss. This can be changed by a mutual agreement with both players.
  • If you are unable to play on a given night, please email us at [email protected] to notify your league manager by 5pm of the day before. This is to ensure that all players receive a game as scheduled.

Urban Rec is all about the social, fun environment created through your beloved sport. Our Fun Points are used across all our leagues and we want to make sure this carried over to our eLeagues. This is how we measure and recognise the social fun side of the game. After every fixture, you’ll receive an email to enter the scores from last night and the fun points you wish to reward the opponent.

What's the benefit me getting a high Fun Points Rating?
The winners of Fun Points get vouchers to one of the local clubhouses at the end of the season.

  • To ensure our FUN FIRST Policy applies, the goal difference of each game does not matter to your standings. If there is a tie at the top of the table, the winner between them will be determined by Fun Points.:

When Low Fun Points are Scored:

If after a game, low fun points were recorded, your league manager will get in contact that week to discuss what happened in the game, and why the low points were recorded.

If a player consistently scores low fun points, your league manager will issue you an offficial warning, and a reminder to all team mates to have fun.

If that player’s fun rating does not improve, this may result in the team being expelled from the league.
